Hi, I’m Sarah.
I’m a freelance acting teacher and director who helps drama schools and industry professionals develop actors to become present, instinctive, confident, and fully engaged in their work.
“When I look for a tutor, I want someone who is knowledgeable, engaging, and able to build real confidence in a room. Not just deliver information.

“Sarah’s teaching style is exceptionally thorough, direct and accessible.
She has a real ability to communicate complex vocal and performance concepts in a way that students immediately connect with and understand.
She also creates a very supportive learning environment whilst maintaining high standards and clear professional expectations — something the students always benefited enormously from.”
Born in London
to a father who worked for the UN, I was raised across multiple countries including Uganda, Hong Kong, Switzerland, and Cyprus.
My mother’s love of film meant storytelling was part of my life from an early age, while my sister and I were constantly creating and performing our own shows at home.
“From that first moment in our Critical Actor class, I knew you weren’t going to stop until every single one of us had reached our full potential.”
Great acting training goes beyond technique.
It builds confidence, curiosity, resilience, and trust in the process.
If that sounds like the kind of environment you want for your students, then I’d love to connect.
